Although everyone’s needs are different, I go into every session with a results-oriented approach. Our sessions will help you discover and make connections between your thoughts, emotions, body sensation, awareness, and behaviors. Together, we will find the tools that work for you. You will feel empowered and able to take control of your life in a more positive way!

I also offer short- and long-term treatment that’s tailored to meet the needs of your situation.

TECHNIQUES

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR treatment combines physical and mental stimuli to repair the brain from traumatic experiences. This tested anxiety and trauma treatment is not only safe for adults, but also for children.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

SE is another proven method to treat trauma as well as to chronic stress. This body-centered therapy helps to rebalance the nervous system through physical and mental tactics with the assistance of a trained psychotherapist like myself.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

The IFS approach breaks the mind into specific subpersonalities and allows you gain a better understanding of yourself, while also addressing and resolving traumatic life experiences.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

No relationship is perfect, but EFT is specifically designed to repair and strengthen. Both struggling and strong couples alike can widely benefit from this bonding therapy and ensure a lasting relationship.

Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

This nonjudgmental method combines emotions, behaviors and body sensations to create a stronger sense of well-being and mental health. MBSR is frequently used for both individuals and groups and is safe for all ages.
